Bronze is not required for every Jr Wildcats coaching activity
Jr Wildcats does not require every accepted coach to hold Bronze certification simply to help at regular club practices or ordinary events where the event rules do not require it.
Bronze is required for Missouri State Series floor access
Current Missouri USA Wrestling policies require coaches to have an active USA Wrestling Wrestling Leader membership with a current profile photo and at least Bronze certification for floor/mat-side access at the Missouri State Folkstyle Championship Series and specified state championship events.
Plan ahead
- Confirm your Wrestling Leader membership and background screening are current.
- Confirm SafeSport is current.
- Use USA Wrestling/Missouri USA Wrestling coaching-certification resources to complete Bronze certification before the applicable State Series event.
- Make sure your USA Wrestling profile photo is current and your certification appears correctly in your membership profile.
- Review the current event information because floor credentials, wristbands, lanyards and admission requirements can vary by event.
Use Missouri USA Wrestling Coaches Clinics & Info and current Missouri USA Wrestling State Series information for the season in which you intend to coach.
