Understanding Tournament Signup Status

Understand the difference between a family signup, payment, club processing, and final external tournament entry.

About 5 minute read

Different statuses can represent different stages

Tournament participation can involve a family decision, a submitted signup, payment or fee handling, club processing, and an external tournament entry. Read the exact status and event instructions rather than treating every stage as final confirmation.

Confirm the wrestler and tournament

When reviewing status, make sure you are looking at the correct wrestler and event. Families with multiple wrestlers should check each wrestler separately.

Do not submit repeatedly to force a status change

If you already submitted a tournament decision and the screen does not show what you expected, do not repeatedly submit, create another wrestler, or create another registration merely to change the status. Ask Jr Wildcats to review the existing event record.

Final event information can change

Tournament schedules, divisions, brackets, and other event details may be controlled by the tournament organizer and can change after the family's signup. Use the current event information and club communications as tournament day approaches.
