SafeSport applies beyond coaches
USA Wrestling's SafeSport framework applies to volunteers and other adults in positions of authority or frequent contact with athletes, not only to wrestling coaches.
Complete the course tied to your profile
- Sign in to the USA Wrestling membership system using your own account/profile.
- Locate the SafeSport training/certification option associated with your profile.
- Launch the course assigned for your current SafeSport training year.
- Complete the entire course and required knowledge checks.
- Confirm that completion is reflected in your USA Wrestling profile.
- Keep your own completion record/certificate when available.
The U.S. Center for SafeSport uses an ongoing training cycle rather than a once-in-a-lifetime course. Use U.S. Center for SafeSport Courses and the current USA Wrestling membership system when completing or renewing training.
Board and volunteer responsibility
Jr Wildcats expects Board members and regular youth-facing volunteers who fall under this credentialing requirement to keep SafeSport current for the period in which they are serving.
