When a tournament uses USA Bracketing
Some wrestling tournaments use USA Bracketing instead of TrackWrestling or Flo. The details available can vary by event, but the family workflow is similar: open the correct event, locate the correct division and weight class, find your wrestler, and follow the bracket as results post.
Start with the tournament's event link
- Use the USA Bracketing link supplied by the tournament, Jr Wildcats, or the event organizer when one is available.
- If the site asks you to sign in or create an account, follow the platform prompt.
- Confirm that the event name and date match the tournament you are attending.
- Select the correct division, age group, and weight class.
- Find your wrestler by name and team.
Reading the wrestler's path
- Identify the wrestler's first or current match.
- Check the opponent and bracket position.
- Look for any posted bout or mat information.
- After the match, confirm the result has posted and see where the bracket sends the wrestler next.
- For double-elimination or placement brackets, remember that a loss may move the wrestler to a consolation path rather than ending the tournament.
Use the event's live instructions
Online brackets are a guide, not a substitute for tournament operations. Mat assignments, staging, scratches, bracket corrections, and schedule changes can occur quickly. Coaches and tournament staff should be treated as the live authority.
If you cannot find the wrestler
Check spelling, team name, division, age group, and weight. If the wrestler still does not appear, ask a Jr Wildcats coach before assuming the wrestler was not entered. A tournament may also be using a different platform or a corrected bracket.
