Families can have more than one kind of adult relationship
Jr Wildcats supports real families: parents, guardians, stepparents, relatives, caregivers, and other trusted adults may all help a wrestler. Those relationships do not necessarily carry identical authority.
Visibility and authority are different
An adult may appropriately be able to see basic wrestler information or help with transportation while another adult handles registration, financial details, fundraising obligations, or tournament signups. The Family Portal should respect the authority attached to the adult-wrestler relationship rather than assuming every connected adult has full control.
Parents and guardians
If you are a parent or guardian who should have broader authority but important functions are missing, ask Jr Wildcats to review the existing relationship/access record. Do not create a duplicate wrestler or second identity to gain access.
Caregivers and other trusted adults
Limited access can be intentional. A grandparent, uncle, babysitter, carpool adult, or other trusted person may need useful family information without needing access to private financial information or permission to make registration decisions.
When access changes
Families change over time. If an adult should gain or lose access, contact Jr Wildcats so the relationship can be updated through the governed family-access process.
