Family Financial Overview: Fees, Payments & Fundraising

Understand the difference between season fees, payments, credits, fundraising obligations, and family financial visibility.

About 6 minute read

Several kinds of family financial information can appear together

Jr Wildcats may have season registration fees, recorded payments or credits, fundraising obligations, and other season-specific financial items. These are related parts of a family's season, but they are not interchangeable.

Start with the wrestler and season

When reviewing financial information, confirm that you are looking at the correct wrestler and current season. Families with multiple wrestlers may have information associated with each wrestler as well as family-level responsibilities.

What a balance means

A displayed amount should be read in the context of its label. A registration charge is not automatically a fundraising obligation, and a fundraising obligation is not automatically an unpaid registration fee. Payments, credits, adjustments, and fundraising progress can affect different parts of the family's overall picture.

Who can see financial details

Financial visibility is governed by the authority associated with the signed-in adult and the wrestler. An adult who can see or help with a wrestler does not automatically need access to private financial information.

If something does not look right

Do not create another adult, wrestler, or registration to change a financial screen. Confirm the season and wrestler, then contact Jr Wildcats so the existing family, registration, payment, or fundraising records can be reviewed.
